"Virago was a fantastic choice for our wedding. They played beautifully for our prelude, processionals, and recessional. They responded quickly and professionally to all communication. They played specific classical pieces and pop song arrangements. They were a fair price for professional musicians. In the midst of COVID-19, my wife and I (both musicians) couldn’t give up having live music at our ceremony and they surpassed every expectation we had of them while adhering to all requirements of the venue. All of our guests loved their playing and my brother-in-law summed it up best when he said to us the quartet was “the best quartet [he’s] ever heard.”

“We booked Virago Ensemble for a Youth Empowerment Black-Tie Dinner in March 2020 in Thomasville, Ga. The dinner took place on the cusp of the COVID-19 Pandemic which made the event seem uncertain. The players’ enthusiasm for our program coupled with their beauty, elegance, and grace helped make our event a huge success! We are extremely thankful for Virago’s commitment, and for the way in which it followed protocol during the pandemic. Megumi, the ensemble’s director, even went above and beyond the call of duty to compose music for one of the songs. We are very happy with their services and will definitely employ them for future events. Virago is a world-class ensemble that is skilled at customizing performances and prices to meet the needs of any event!”

"I hired Meg to play a private concert for a friend's birthday during the Covid 19 pandemic. She played her violin on the patio while my friend sat on the porch. Meg played Meditation by Massenet, Partita no. 3 by Bach and Korngold violin concerto, mvt. 1. In between pieces, she answered our questions about her life and her professional work with the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra. She was easy to reach, easy to talk to, and possibly the best money I've ever spent on a birthday present. I can't say enough good things about her."
